Raise Cervical Cancer Awareness

I just came across this great charm bracelet. It is made of amethysts, freshwater pearls, and Swarovski crytals; $100 from each sale will go to Make the Commitment. Make a Commitment is an organization that encourages women to make the commitment to discuss with their doctors ways to prevent cervical cancer.

As a young end stage cervical cancer survivor I am so excited to see such a great organization. I often write about how little attention cervical cancer gets. However, it is a disease that threatens all women. There is virtually no way to protect against it and its often misdiagnosed. Its wonderful to hear that there is an organization out there dedicated to raising awareness.

I know the economy is tight. But, if you are planning on buying jewelry please think about picking up this beauty. Not only will you have a gorgeous bracelet you will be helping a cause that really needs it!

This would be a great gift for me to give my daughter's for Christmas. Not only beautiful but a reminder to talk with their doctors about cervical cancer. And how awesome that they donate $100!!!!
Thank you

Thanks for stopping by my blog. It was inspiring to read your story. I'm 38 & had a friend from grade school pass away last year from cervical cancer. I'm so glad you're such an activist. We need to raise awareness. I'll be following your story! :)

I also had cervical cancer when I was 18.My cancer was found very early but I still had to go through hell and I was pregnant which they had to terminate my pregnancy in order to treat the cancer in time.I still fear my OBGYN,I am afraid they will again someday tell me that it came back.
